EEG-QEEG

Balanced Mind Centers has technology to map out your brain function with qEEG or Quantitative EEG.

Most conditions, whether you have troubles with anxiety, memory, moods, or attention disorders all have their roots in brain function!
Our Job is to look, find and treat it before you throw chemicals at the brain or go to counselors or therapists.
We can actually show you what your brain is DOING!

We, at Balanced Mind Centers have the technology to map out your brain function with QEEG and collect data. We actually measure the amount, types, frequencies, and communication of the brain waves, or electrical activity in your head. Then, we analyze it and see how it correlates with what’s going on with your mental, physical, and/or emotional status.
It is an incredibly simple, painless process without side effects. A cap fitted with sensors is placed on your head and connected to our computer with highly specialized software.
Once we have the brain mapping information, a specific Neurofeedback training protocol is developed based on the outcome of this non-invasive process.

Your personal QEEG assessment will produce pictures such as this which show the actual brain electrical activity, or brainwaves.

We use the most accurate and advanced QEEG technologically available today!

We have a specialized Neurology Doctor who has read more than a million EEG scans in his life.

We, at Balanced Mind Centers have the TEAM of health care PROFESSIONALS with a wide variety of experience and resources to create for you a custom wellness program to support a healthy brain.

Neurofeedback, also called Brainwave or EEG Biofeedback, is a learning process that enables you to alter and control your brainwaves. Simply put, neurofeedback is biofeedback for the brain; there is one exception, however. Where more traditional forms of biofeedback are used to teach people skills they can call upon and use in specific situations (i.e. learning to decrease autonomic arousal during a panic attack), the goal of EEG biofeedback is to retrain the brain.Health care professionals from around the world are using neurofeedback to treat a number of conditions involving problems with attention, cognition, mood and behavior.

There are two major approaches utilized in neurofeedback: alpha/theta and SMR/beta trainings. Together, neurofeedback is used as both a treatment for many psychological and physical problems, and as a learning tool for enhancing attention, performance and creativity. Although neurofeedback is not the “cure-all and end-all” treatment, it is a relatively new and exciting treatment that has shown clinical efficacy with a variety of conditions.
